Hawk Beak

A beak taken from hawks – Restore Stamina, Fortify Carry Weight and two resistances.

Hawk Beak comes from the hawks circling over Skyrim’s cliffs. Bring one down with an arrow or spell – they’re not hard to hit. The beak combines Restore Stamina, Fortify Carry Weight, Resist Frost and Resist Shock, which makes it a nice part of an all-round resistance potion.

Alchemy effects

The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.

  1. Restore Stamina – instantly restores spent Stamina. Also on: Bear Claws, Bee, Charred Skeever Hide, Eye of Sabre Cat, Histcarp, Honeycomb, Large Antlers, Mudcrab Chitin, Orange Dartwing, Pearl, Pine Thrush Egg, Powdered Mammoth Tusk, Purple Mountain Flower, Sabre Cat Tooth, Silverside Perch, Small Pearl, Torchbug Thorax, Wisp Wrappings.
  2. Resist Frost – reduces the frost damage you take for a while. Also on: Frost Mirriam, Frost Salts, Moon Sugar, Purple Mountain Flower, Silverside Perch, Slaughterfish Scales, Small Pearl, Snowberries, Thistle Branch.
  3. Fortify Carry Weight – raises how much you can carry for a while – handy when you are over-encumbered. Also on: Creep Cluster, Giant’s Toe, River Betty, Scaly Pholiota, Wisp Wrappings.
  4. Resist Shock – reduces the shock damage you take for a while. Also on: Blue Dartwing, Glow Dust, Glowing Mushroom, Pearl, Pine Thrush Egg, Snowberries, Swamp Fungal Pod.

All four effects are beneficial, so Hawk Beak is safe to throw into any potion.
