Powdered Mammoth Tusk is one of the rarest base-game ingredients. Merchants only start selling it once you have the Merchant perk in Speech, and even then it’s rare. Restore Stamina and Fortify Sneak are useful; Fear and Weakness to Fire suit poisons.
Alchemy effects
The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.
- Restore Stamina – instantly restores spent Stamina. - Fortify Sneak – makes you harder to detect for a while. Also on: Abecean Longfin, Beehive Husk, Frost Mirriam, Hawk Feathers, Human Flesh, Purple Mountain Flower.
- Weakness to Fire – a poison effect that makes the target take more fire damage. Also on: Bleeding Crown, Frost Salts, Ice Wraith Teeth, Juniper Berries, Moon Sugar.
- Fear – a poison effect that makes low-level creatures and people flee from combat. Also on: Blue Dartwing, Cyrodilic Spadetail, Daedra Heart, Namira’s Rot.
