Sabre Cat Teeth are the long fangs of Skyrim’s most feared early-game predator. Despite the scary source, they’re cheap – and very useful: Fortify Smithing and Fortify Heavy Armor make them a favourite for blacksmiths and tanks.
Alchemy effects
The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.
- Restore Stamina – instantly restores spent Stamina. Also on: Bear Claws, Bee, Charred Skeever Hide, Eye of Sabre Cat, Hawk Beak, Histcarp, Honeycomb, Large Antlers, Mudcrab Chitin, Orange Dartwing, Pearl, Pine Thrush Egg, Powdered Mammoth Tusk, Purple Mountain Flower, Silverside Perch, Small Pearl, Torchbug Thorax, Wisp Wrappings.
- Fortify Heavy Armor – temporarily raises your Heavy Armor skill. Also on: Ice Wraith Teeth, Slaughterfish Scales, Thistle Branch, White Cap.
- Fortify Smithing – makes weapon and armor improvements better – drink it before using a grindstone or workbench. Also on: Blisterwort, Glowing Mushroom, Spriggan Sap.
- Weakness to Poison – a poison effect that makes the target more vulnerable to poison. Also on: Abecean Longfin, Bleeding Crown, Chaurus Eggs, Deathbell, Giant Lichen, Pine Thrush Egg, Small Antlers.
Tips and trivia
With Hearthfire they’re also used to craft a mounted sabre cat head.
