Glow Dust

Shimmering dust left by wisps and Wispmothers – a mage's ingredient with Fortify Destruction.

Glow Dust is what’s left of a wisp after you’ve dealt with it – a faintly shining powder worth 20 gold. Fortify Destruction and Resist Shock are useful for mages, while Damage Magicka and Damage Magicka Regen make it a nasty addition to anti-mage poisons.

Alchemy effects

The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.

  1. Damage Magicka – a poison effect that drains the target’s Magicka on the spot. Also on: Butterfly Wing, Chaurus Eggs, Daedra Heart, Eye of Sabre Cat, Hagraven Feathers, Hanging Moss, Human Heart, Jarrin Root, Luna Moth Wing, Namira’s Rot, Nordic Barnacle.
  2. Damage Magicka Regen – a poison effect that slows the target’s Magicka regeneration for a short time. Also on: Bear Claws, Blue Butterfly Wing, Blue Mountain Flower, Chicken’s Egg, Hanging Moss, Human Heart, Jarrin Root, Nightshade, Spider Egg, Spriggan Sap.
