Charred Skeever Hide

A roasted skeever skin found on campfire spits – a cheap all-round healing ingredient.

You can’t make Charred Skeever Hide yourself – somebody else has to cook the skeever first. You’ll find them on spits over campfires and giant bonfires. It’s worth just 1 gold, but Restore Health, Restore Stamina, Resist Poison and Cure Disease make it a surprisingly useful little thing.

Alchemy effects

The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.

  1. Restore Stamina – instantly restores spent Stamina. Also on: Bear Claws, Bee, Eye of Sabre Cat, Hawk Beak, Histcarp, Honeycomb, Large Antlers, Mudcrab Chitin, Orange Dartwing, Pearl, Pine Thrush Egg, Powdered Mammoth Tusk, Purple Mountain Flower, Sabre Cat Tooth, Silverside Perch, Small Pearl, Torchbug Thorax, Wisp Wrappings.
  2. Cure Disease – removes every disease you have caught – no need to find a shrine. Also on: Hawk Feathers, Mudcrab Chitin, Vampire Dust.
  3. Resist Poison – reduces the effect of poisons on you for a while. Also on: Beehive Husk, Falmer Ear, Garlic, Grass Pod, Mudcrab Chitin, Slaughterfish Egg, Thistle Branch, Troll Fat.
  4. Restore Health – instantly restores lost Health. Also on: Blisterwort, Blue Dartwing, Blue Mountain Flower, Butterfly Wing, Daedra Heart, Eye of Sabre Cat, Imp Stool, Rock Warbler Egg, Swamp Fungal Pod, Wheat.

All four effects are beneficial, so Charred Skeever Hide is safe to throw into any potion.

Tips and trivia

Its Cure Disease is weaker than on other ingredients, but combined with another Cure Disease ingredient it still does the job.
