Deathbell is a drooping, pale flower that grows in the gloomy marshes of Hjaalmarch. Folklore says it springs up where people have died – the in-game herbalist found no proof of that, but its reputation as a poison is well earned. Its Damage Health is stronger than on most ingredients, and Weakness to Poison on the same flower makes that damage hit even harder.
Alchemy effects
The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.
- Damage Health – a poison effect that deals instant damage to the target’s Health. Also on: Crimson Nirnroot, Ectoplasm, Falmer Ear, Human Flesh, Human Heart, Imp Stool, Jarrin Root, Nightshade, Nirnroot, Red Mountain Flower, River Betty, Skeever Tail, Small Antlers, Troll Fat, Void Salts.
- Ravage Stamina – a concentrated poison that lowers the target’s Stamina for a while. Also on: Bee, Berit’s Ashes, Bone Meal, Honeycomb, Thistle Branch.
- Slow – a poison effect that makes the target move at reduced speed for a few seconds. Also on: Large Antlers, River Betty, Salt Pile.
- Weakness to Poison – a poison effect that makes the target more vulnerable to poison. Also on: Abecean Longfin, Bleeding Crown, Chaurus Eggs, Giant Lichen, Pine Thrush Egg, Sabre Cat Tooth, Small Antlers.
All four effects are harmful, which makes Deathbell a pure poison ingredient.
