Human Hearts turn up wherever something unpleasant has been going on: necromancer tables, vampire lairs and Forsworn rituals. All four effects are harmful – Damage Health, Damage Magicka, Damage Magicka Regen and Frenzy – so it’s a pure poison ingredient. Merchants won’t pay anything for it.
