Skeever Tail

A tail cut from skeevers – mostly a poison ingredient, with Fortify Light Armor on the side.

Skeever Tails come from Skyrim’s giant rats, so you’ll collect plenty without trying. Three of the four effects are harmful – Damage Stamina Regen, Ravage Health and Damage Health – making it a cheap poison ingredient. Fortify Light Armor is the odd useful one.

Alchemy effects

The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.

  1. Damage Stamina Regen – a poison effect that slows the target’s Stamina regeneration for a short time. Also on: Creep Cluster, Daedra Heart, Frost Mirriam, Giant’s Toe, Histcarp, Juniper Berries, Large Antlers, Silverside Perch, Wheat.
  2. Ravage Health – a concentrated poison that lowers the target’s Health for a while. Also on: Cyrodilic Spadetail, Eye of Sabre Cat, Giant Lichen, Jazbay Grapes, Silverside Perch.
  3. Damage Health – a poison effect that deals instant damage to the target’s Health. Also on: Crimson Nirnroot, Deathbell, Ectoplasm, Falmer Ear, Human Flesh, Human Heart, Imp Stool, Jarrin Root, Nightshade, Nirnroot, Red Mountain Flower, River Betty, Small Antlers, Troll Fat, Void Salts.
