Spriggan Sap

Glowing green sap – Fortify Smithing, Fortify Enchanting and Fortify Alteration. Can't be looted from spriggans.

Spriggan Sap is a glowing green resin with a very crafting-minded set of effects: Fortify Smithing and Fortify Enchanting, plus Fortify Alteration. Despite the name, you can’t get it from spriggans themselves – they only drop Taproot. You’ll have to buy or collect it from shelves.

Alchemy effects

The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.

  1. Damage Magicka Regen – a poison effect that slows the target’s Magicka regeneration for a short time. Also on: Bear Claws, Blue Butterfly Wing, Blue Mountain Flower, Chicken’s Egg, Glow Dust, Hanging Moss, Human Heart, Jarrin Root, Nightshade, Spider Egg.
  2. Fortify Enchanting – makes the enchantments you create stronger – drink it before using the Arcane Enchanter. Also on: Blue Butterfly Wing, Hagraven Claw, Snowberries.
  3. Fortify Smithing – makes weapon and armor improvements better – drink it before using a grindstone or workbench. Also on: Blisterwort, Glowing Mushroom, Sabre Cat Tooth.
  4. Fortify Alteration – makes your Alteration spells last longer for a while. Also on: Grass Pod, River Betty.
