Evette San is a Nord street vendor in Solitude and the only merchant in Skyrim who regularly sells spiced wine. The recipe is a family secret – according to Evette, the one good thing her father ever gave her – and she claims nobody else in the province even bothers trying to compete.
Where to find them
During the day she works her stall near the well in the city market. When she is not selling, she is at home in the house she shares with her father, Octieve San.
Quests
The Spiced Wine – a small favour: the East Empire Company is sitting on her latest shipment of spices, and she needs someone to talk them into releasing it. Head down to the docks and speak to Vittoria Vici, then return to Evette, who pays you in bottles of spiced wine.
Burning of King Olaf – her business depends on the bards’ yearly festival, which has been cancelled as ‘in poor taste’ after High King Torygg’s death. If you help get it back on, she hands out the first cup on the college’s tab during the celebration, and gives the hero of the festival a couple of bottles for free.

Personality & relationships
Evette is on her feet all day and has little patience left for Octieve, who drinks her earnings, asks for mead and won’t even tidy the house. She warns strangers to steer clear of him because he will only beg for coin. Her customers are a who’s who of the city: Aia Arria praises the wine above any exotic drink, Illdi can never resist a warming cup, Jawanan saves his for the festival, and she teases Rorlund that his bottles are surely ‘for ceremonial purposes’. Sorex Vinius buys bottles as gifts, and she chats with Silana Petreia about the orders coming in for Vittoria Vici‘s upcoming wedding.

- The game lists her as a Nord even though her father is a Breton.
- If she dies, you inherit 100 gold.
- Stealing from her or killing Octieve can earn you a visit from hired thugs.
