Inge Six Fingers is an elderly Nord bard and the Dean of Lutes at the Bards College in Solitude. She teaches lute and other bardic arts and modestly claims she is only good at it because she is old – the instrument takes a lifetime to master.

Finn’s Lute – over a year ago thieves raided the college and stole gold, silver and Finn’s Lute, the original eight-course lute made by the bard who invented that design. The college has finally learned that the bandits fled to Stony Creek Cave. Bring the lute back and Inge, unable to pay what it is worth, teaches you a few tricks instead.
Personality & relationships
Inge is brisk and impatient with chatter, but drifts into wistful thought whenever the lost lute comes up. She runs her students – Illdi, Jorn and Aia Arria – through the same drill about solo rehearsals and is the only judge of whether they are ready. To headmaster Viarmo she admits they are mostly passable, as long as they never hear her say it.
