Aia Arria is an Imperial bard studying at the Bards College in Solitude. She is the star pupil of her singing teacher Pantea Ateia, and she knows it. Modesty is not on her syllabus.
Where to find them
She spends her time at the Bards College, practising and chatting with fellow students and teachers.
Quests
She can be the mark in a couple of Thieves Guild side jobs: a possible target for The Fishing Job, and a high-profile target for Deceiving the Herd.
Personality & relationships
Aia thinks her voice is flawless and that Lady Ateia is underselling her. Pantea, for her part, tells Headmaster Viarmo that Aia outshines every other student, especially Illdi. Aia is not exactly sweet to her classmates either. When Illdi mentions Ataf keeps making eyes at her, Aia tells her to put him in his place, sniffs at Jorn‘s plan to join the Legion, and boasts that she has already been lined up to sing at the Jarl’s court in Falkreath. She thinks poetry is dull without music, which Giraud Gemane will not love, and she brushes off Inge Six Fingers‘ advice. She does get on with Evette San, praising her spiced wine.
Good to know
Her rivalries run deep. If you kill Inge Six Fingers she sends you 50 gold, and she sends a thank-you note if Pantea dies. Her name may be a nod to the musical term aria.
