Mudcrab Chitin comes from the grumpy crabs that ambush you along every riverbank. Every effect is beneficial – Restore Stamina, Cure Disease, Resist Poison and Resist Fire – so it’s safe filler for useful potions, and a cheap Cure Disease option.
Alchemy effects
The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.
- Restore Stamina – instantly restores spent Stamina. - Cure Disease – removes every disease you have caught – no need to find a shrine. Also on: Charred Skeever Hide, Hawk Feathers, Vampire Dust.
- Resist Poison – reduces the effect of poisons on you for a while. Also on: Beehive Husk, Charred Skeever Hide, Falmer Ear, Garlic, Grass Pod, Slaughterfish Egg, Thistle Branch, Troll Fat.
- Resist Fire – reduces the fire damage you take for a while. Also on: Berit’s Ashes, Bone Meal, Dragon’s Tongue, Elves Ear, Fire Salts, Fly Amanita, Snowberries.
