Bear Claws come from exactly where you’d expect: dead bears. They’re light and cheap, but the combination of Fortify Health and Fortify One-handed makes them a favourite for warriors who mix their own drinks before a fight.
Alchemy effects
The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.
- Restore Stamina – instantly restores spent Stamina. - Fortify Health – raises your maximum Health for a while. Also on: Blue Mountain Flower, Giant’s Toe, Glowing Mushroom, Hanging Moss, Wheat.
- Fortify One-handed – makes your one-handed weapons hit harder for a while. Also on: Canis Root, Hanging Moss, Hawk Feathers, Rock Warbler Egg, Small Pearl.
- Damage Magicka Regen – a poison effect that slows the target’s Magicka regeneration for a short time. Also on: Blue Butterfly Wing, Blue Mountain Flower, Chicken’s Egg, Glow Dust, Hanging Moss, Human Heart, Jarrin Root, Nightshade, Spider Egg, Spriggan Sap.
Tips and trivia
Its Restore Stamina effect is a little weaker than on most other ingredients, so don’t build a stamina potion around it.
