Void Salts are left behind by Storm Atronachs and are worth 125 gold each, making them one of the most valuable ingredients. Resist Magic and Fortify Magicka are useful, and Weakness to Shock plus Damage Health are there for poisons. They’re also a smithing material.

Tips and trivia
Void Salts improve the Nightingale Armor at a workbench. At the Atronach Forge you can make them from a salt pile, an amethyst and a soul gem, and they’re needed for Storm Atronach items. With Dawnguard and Dragonborn they’re used for shock bolts and improved Bonemold armor.
