Vampire Dust

The ashes of a slain vampire – Invisibility, Cure Disease, Restore Magicka and Regenerate Health.

Vampire Dust is what’s left after a vampire meets your blade. It’s the only ingredient with Invisibility as its first effect, and every effect is positive. Ironically for a vampire’s remains, it also cures disease – including the early stage of vampirism, Sanguinare Vampiris.

Alchemy effects

The effects are listed in the order you discover them by eating the ingredient or using it in a potion. Two ingredients make a potion when they share at least one effect.

  1. Invisibility – makes you invisible for a few seconds – until you attack or interact with something. Also on: Chaurus Eggs, Crimson Nirnroot, Ice Wraith Teeth, Luna Moth Wing, Nirnroot.
  2. Restore Magicka – instantly restores spent Magicka. Also on: Briar Heart, Creep Cluster, Dwarven Oil, Ectoplasm, Elves Ear, Fire Salts, Frost Salts, Giant Lichen, Grass Pod, Human Flesh, Moon Sugar, Mora Tapinella, Pearl, Red Mountain Flower, Taproot, White Cap.
  3. Regenerate Health – makes your Health regenerate faster for a while. Also on: Garlic, Juniper Berries, Luna Moth Wing, Namira’s Rot, Nordic Barnacle.
  4. Cure Disease – removes every disease you have caught – no need to find a shrine. Also on: Charred Skeever Hide, Hawk Feathers, Mudcrab Chitin.
