Damage Health poisons are the most straightforward poisons in the game. Coat a weapon with one and your hit delivers extra poison damage on top of the blade or arrow itself: 15 points from a Weak Poison, rising to 65 from a Deadly Poison. Assassins and archers like them for finishing a target before it can react, and they give any fighter a quick damage boost against a tough opponent.

Where to find them
Like other leveled poisons, these can be bought from vendors who carry potions or picked up as loot, both lying around and on the people you defeat. The tier you see scales with the Dragonborn’s level, so the weak versions dominate early and the deadly ones show up later. Each vial weighs 0.5.
Brewing your own
Few effects have as many sources as this one. With the Alchemy skill you can use Crimson Nirnroot, Deathbell, Ectoplasm, Falmer Ear, Human Flesh, Human Heart, Imp Stool, Jarrin Root, Nightshade, Nirnroot, Red Mountain Flower, River Betty, Skeever Tail, Small Antlers, Troll Fat and Void Salts. Instead of drinking the result, apply it to a weapon from your inventory so it affects the next target you hit.
Mixing at an alchemy lab follows the usual rule: two or more ingredients must share an effect before anything useful comes out. Eating an ingredient reveals one of its properties (more with the Experimenter perk), and once an effect is known you can pick it straight from the lab menu instead of guessing.
