Endon is a Redguard silversmith in Markarth, working the metal just like his father and grandfather before him. He lives with his wife Kerah, who runs the family jewelry stall, and their daughter Adara, his eager apprentice. Their son Cade is off fighting for the Stormcloaks.
Where to find them
During the day Endon wanders the city with Adara and drops by Kerah’s stall in the market. In the evening the whole family heads to the Silver-Blood Inn. Their home sits right next door to Ogmund‘s house.
Quests
Silver Lining – the Thieves Guild job that wins the Guild influence in Markarth. Delvin Mallory sends you to Endon, who ordered a special silver mold from artisans in Valenwood. It was stolen from the Khajiit caravan carrying it by bandits under Rigel Strong-Arm, and it’s now in their hideout at Pinewatch. The Jarl and his court were too stretched to help, so the Guild it is. Bring the mold back and he becomes the Guild’s ally in the city.
He can also be the person you need to save in the Companions radiant quest “Rescue Mission”.
Services
After Silver Lining, Endon works as a fence with the standard 4,000 gold limit. Being so close to Vlindrel Hall, he’s one of the handiest fences around if you own a house in Markarth.
Personality & relationships
Endon takes pride in silver – it needs more skill than iron or steel, he insists – and in his daughter’s talent. He worries, though. He tells Kerah to close the stall out of fear of the Forsworn, misses the days when the roads were safe and travelers wore necklaces from every province, and admits that without the war Cade would have joined the Legion like his grandfather. When Adara asks if she can join the Legion one day, he answers that she can – if there’s still a Legion left.
