Grim Shieldmaiden is a Nord warrior with an ominous title and a very short life expectancy. She is one of the ten recurring targets the Dark Brotherhood can send you after, and her contract puts her in Markarth.
Where to find them
She appears in Markarth once her contract is active. Before that, there’s no reason to go looking for her.
Quests
She is a target in The Dark Brotherhood Forever, the repeatable set of contracts available after the main Brotherhood story. A client wants her dead, and it’s your job to oblige. Like the other targets in that pool, she exists mostly so you have someone to visit with a blade.
Personality & relationships
The game tells us almost nothing about her: no family, no backstory and no memorable lines. She’s a low-level warrior, so she shouldn’t put up much of a fight.
