Adara is a Redguard girl living in Markarth with her father Endon, the silversmith, and her mother Kerah, who runs the family’s jewelry stall. Her big brother Cade is away fighting for the Stormcloaks, so it’s just the three of them at home for now.
Where to find them
Adara spends her days at Endon’s House, at the market with her mother, or tagging along behind her father as he walks around the city. With no other kids to play with, she has turned the family business into her playground.
Personality & relationships
She wants to be a silversmith just like her papa and calls herself his apprentice – mostly, it seems, because it lets her hit things with a hammer. She isn’t bad at it either: the necklaces she brings to the stall actually sell, and her parents beam about how naturally she works the silver. She’ll even try to pitch you some jewelry herself, with the slightly wobbly confidence of a kid doing sales for the first time.
Listen in on the family and you’ll catch the bigger picture: Adara keeps asking when Cade is coming home, wonders whether she can join the Legion when she grows up, and once catches her parents arguing about whether the stall is too dangerous to keep open with the Forsworn on the roads. She also has strong opinions about dinner – stew again is not acceptable, she wants steak.
