Alfhild Battle-Born is a Nord farmer from the Battle-Born clan of Whiterun. Her job in the family is keeping the Battle-Born Farm running, and she is easily the least warlike member of a family whose name literally includes “battle”.
Where to find them
She lives in Whiterun with the rest of the clan and works the family farm outside the city.
Quests
Bring Alfhild wheat and she will pay you for each bundle. She also turns up in other people’s jobs: Farkas may send you to win a fistfight against her in Hired Muscle, Vilkas or Skjor may ask you to rescue her from a bandit camp, and Delvin Mallory of the Thieves Guild wants you to lift Alfhild’s Ruby in The Fishing Job. If you kill any of her relatives, expect hired thugs.
Personality & relationships
Alfhild is the daughter of Olfrid and Bergritte, wife of Idolaf and mother of Lars. She calls the civil war as stupid as the feud with the Gray-Manes and admires her brother Jon for heading to the Bards College instead of the front. Her biggest worry is Lars, who keeps getting beaten up – by a girl, she notes with dismay. At home she reads to her mother in the evenings, and is not amused when Bergritte requests The Lusty Argonian Maid.
