Korir is the Nord Jarl of Winterhold, ruling from the Jarl’s Longhouse in what is left of Winterhold. His city once rivalled the greatest in Skyrim, but the Great Collapse sent most of it into the sea – and Korir carries the grudges of his ancestors with him.
Personality
Korir refuses to abandon his home and serves Winterhold dutifully, but he is bitter. He does not approve of the College of Winterhold, and the other jarls tend to ignore his opinions because Winterhold is no longer seen as an “important” hold.
Family
Korir is married to Thaena, and they have a son, Assur.
Quests
- The Helm of Winterhold – ask him for work and he sends you to recover the ancient helm, hoping to restore some of his hold’s standing.
- Thane of Winterhold – help three residents of Winterhold to be named Thane.
Civil War
Korir supports the Stormcloaks. If the Empire takes Winterhold, he is exiled and replaced by Kraldar.
