Eirid is a little Nord girl who lives at the Frozen Hearth, the only inn in Winterhold. Her parents, Dagur and Haran, run the place together, so she has grown up surrounded by tankards, travellers and the odd mage.
Where to find them
Eirid hardly ever leaves the inn. She spends her days inside the Frozen Hearth and goes down to the basement to sleep at night.
Personality & relationships
Winterhold has emptied out so badly that there is exactly one other child in town: Assur, the Jarl’s son. Eirid plays with him because there is nobody else, but she is not a fan. She finds him mean, and his favourite game, ‘Hunt the Elf’, always ends with her cast as the elf. Her mother isn’t thrilled about that game either.
Unlike Assur, who repeats his father’s grumbling about the College, Eirid quite likes the mages. She thinks they seem nice, even if they won’t let her inside the College of Winterhold because it isn’t safe. That opinion fits her family: her parents happily serve College members and even rent a room to the exiled mage Nelacar.
During the College quest Containment, when magical anomalies roam the town, she nervously asks whether you made something bad happen.
Good to know
Steal from the Frozen Hearth and Eirid is one of the people who may hire thugs to come after you. Small girl, long memory.
