Nenya is a High Elf and the steward of Falkreath, serving Jarl Siddgeir. She has held the post a long time: it was Dengeir of Stuhn who appointed her back when he was young, and when he stepped aside it was simply easier to keep her on. Since Siddgeir has little interest in governing, the real day-to-day running of the hold falls to her.
Where to find them
She lives in the Jarl’s Longhouse in Falkreath and works there alongside the Jarl and his housecarl Helvard.
Quests
She can be the person you need to escort home in the Companions‘ radiant quest Rescue Mission.
Services
Lakeview Manor (Hearthfire) – once you’ve done enough work for the Jarl of Falkreath, Nenya sells you the plot of land at Lakeview Manor for 5,000 gold.
Personality & relationships
Nenya is calm, fair-minded and patient – exactly what you want next to an impulsive Jarl. She admits Siddgeir sometimes acts too fast, but says he does listen to her and Helvard; when he wants guards sent after late taxes from Granite Hill, she talks him into giving them another day. She and Helvard swap worries about the war’s effect on defences and trade routes. Ask about the huge cemetery and she explains that Falkreath grew up around old battle graves and monuments, and was once known as a resting place for heroes. To her, this war is just one more in a long line.
