Bolund is a Nord lumberjack who runs the lumber mill in Falkreath. He is the younger brother of Solaf, owner of Gray Pine Goods, and where his brother is friendly, Bolund is about as warm as a frozen log.
Where to find them
The first time you visit Falkreath he is usually walking out of Gray Pine Goods just as you walk in. After that, head to the mill by the river, where he spends his days working.
Services
With Hearthfire installed you can buy lumber from him, handy if you’re building a home nearby.
Personality & relationships
Bolund greets Nords as true sons of Skyrim and everyone else as provincials who should never have been let in; Argonians get an even ruder welcome. His brother says he simply isn’t a talker with strangers. In the shop the two argue about Falkreath: Solaf is happy with a good job under a good Jarl, while Bolund grumbles that the town is just a place where people come to die and that real Nords should be out fighting for their land. He also has nothing kind to say about Valga Vinicia, whom he calls a gossip and a troublemaker.
Good to know
- Kill him and Solaf gets a special conversation that ends with him either forgiving you or attacking you.
- Under certain circumstances a courier brings you a letter from Bolund thanking you for killing someone he won’t miss.
