Eris is a young Nord sailor who signed on with the crew of the Red Wave, a ship that ties up next to the East Empire Company Warehouse down at the Solitude docks. She is calm and cheerful, with long blond hair, sun-tanned skin and a smear of green war paint over her left eye – the same green paint the rest of her shipmates wear.
Where to find them
On or around the Red Wave by the warehouse. She has no quests, shop or training to offer, so she is mostly someone to chat with while you wait for a boat or wander the docks.
Personality & relationships
Eris lost her father, who was the only family she ever had, and has since adopted the Red Wave crew as her new one. Her shipmate Dorian is teaching her to fence, though she doubts she will ever be in his league. She also has a slightly unsettling way of describing the wonders of life at sea: apparently the most eye-opening part is how many different ways a man can die. On a lighter note, she has fallen in love with a flute she heard a street musician play in town and would very much like to own it.
The ship’s reputation is not spotless: Falk Firebeard calls the Red Wave a pirate ship and has heard rumours of shady dealings between its crew and Thane Erikur.
Good to know
She shares her name with the Greek goddess of discord, which is funny given how calm she is.
