Asgeir Snow-Shod is a Nord from Riften and a member of the Snow-Shod clan. His father would like him to pick up a sword, but Asgeir says plainly that he is a businessman, not a warrior. He is a business partner in the Black-Briar Meadery and is engaged to Vittoria Vici, which puts him right in the line of fire during a Dark Brotherhood contract.
Where to find them
During working hours he is at the Black-Briar Meadery, usually in his office. During Bound Until Death he is in Solitude for his wedding.
Quests
In Bound Until Death you are hired to kill Vittoria Vici at her own wedding, and Asgeir is the groom. If anyone sees the killing, expect him to come at you. If you get away clean and the hunt dies down, you can talk to him afterwards, though he won’t have much to say. Things can also spiral: in the chaos he and his parents may end up fighting the guards, and the whole family can be cut down. If he dies, a coffin holding his belongings appears in Riften’s Hall of the Dead.
Personality & relationships
Asgeir is grieving his younger sister Lilija, a Stormcloak battle-maiden killed in the war. His parents are Vulwulf, a former Stormcloak soldier, and Nura, priestess of Talos, and his brother is Unmid. He loves his family, but quietly doubts Ulfric‘s motives and asks you to keep that between you. His engagement to Vittoria, a cousin of the Emperor, is an arranged match meant to ease tensions, and his father is not thrilled about him marrying an Imperial.
He says he put up much of the gold Maven Black-Briar needed to get the meadery going, and he is proud of how well it’s doing. Vulwulf, for his part, reminds him that the money came from him and that he ought to be holding a sword instead of a ledger.
