Anwen is a Redguard priestess who serves at the Temple of Dibella in Markarth. She takes her vows seriously – so seriously that, unless you marry her, she never sets foot outside the temple.

Always inside the Temple of Dibella in Markarth. Until you wed her, that’s the only place you’ll ever see her.
Follower & marriage
Anwen becomes a marriage candidate if you’re wearing an Amulet of Mara when you talk to her. After the wedding she’ll offer to live either at her home – which is the temple – or yours. If you’ve already adopted children she’ll note that wherever you end up, there needs to be room for them.
Like other spouses, she runs a little shop once married: you can buy and sell all kinds of goods with her, and she hands you 100 gold a day from the profits, which piles up if you don’t collect it.
Personality & relationships
As a spouse, Anwen is on the assertive side, closer in tone to Olfina Gray-Mane than to sweeter partners such as Mjoll or Iona, though she has her tender moments too.
Good to know
- Without Hearthfire she is the only Redguard you can marry; Hearthfire adds Rayya as a second option.
- She sometimes stays at the temple after the wedding even when you’ve asked her to move in with you.
