Acolyte Jenssen is a Nord priest serving at the Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun. He is one of the healers keeping the temple’s patients alive, working alongside Danica Pure-Spring and Ahlam. He wears simple monk robes and has a bedside manner built entirely around the word “patience”.
Where to find them
Jenssen stays in or around the temple all day. You will usually catch him standing over the Sickly Farmer’s bed casting healing spells, doing a bit of hammering on the temple walls, or simply standing about.
Quests
He can turn up in radiant work for the Companions: as a brawl target in Hired Muscle, or as someone you must rescue from Serpent’s Bluff Redoubt in Rescue Mission. Steal from him and he may hire thugs to come and teach you some manners.
Personality & relationships
Jenssen is a calm, soft-spoken healer whose lines are mostly gentle reminders to relax and let the body mend. In a fight he can fall back on Healing, Oakflesh, Sparks and Lightning Bolt, so he is not quite as harmless as he looks.
Good to know
Like Nazeem and Ahlam, he carries a Key to Wintersand Manor, a house that never made it into the finished game. His subtitles simply call him “Jenssen”.
