Delacourt is a Breton bard who keeps the mood at Dead Man’s Drink, the tavern in Falkreath, from getting quite as gloomy as the graveyard next door. Like every bard you meet in Skyrim, he learned his craft at the Bards College in Solitude.

Inside Dead Man’s Drink, run by Valga Vinicia. Pull up a chair and he’ll be performing somewhere nearby.

Personality & relationships
He is proud of his schooling and thinks a wanderer like you would fit right in at the College, so expect a gentle sales pitch if you chat with him. He isn’t a fighter, but don’t mistake him for a pushover: steal from him, even without being spotted, and he’ll pay some hired thugs to come and find you.
Good to know
- If the Stormcloaks take Falkreath he should switch to the Stormcloak version of the war song, but he sometimes still sings the Imperial one.
