Indara Caerellia is an Imperial farmer living in Falkreath, where she and her Nord husband Mathies work Corpselight Farm. When you first arrive in town the couple are standing in the cemetery at the funeral of their nine-year-old daughter, Lavinia, led by the priest Runil.
Where to find them
After the funeral she goes back to her normal routine on Corpselight Farm in town, and she also spends time at the Hall of the Dead, the one place her husband says she finds peace these days.
Quests
She doesn’t hand out quests herself, but her daughter’s death is the heart of Ill Met by Moonlight. Lavinia was killed at the lumber mill by Sinding, a drifting labourer, and talking to Mathies about it starts the quest.
Personality & relationships
Indara is quiet and worn down. She calls farming in Falkreath thankless work, is openly proud of her husband as a kind and wise man that both Nords and Imperials could learn from, and can’t understand how anyone could walk past all of Falkreath’s graves and still want war. Runil’s support means a lot to her.
Good to know
- In one of her lines she calls her husband “Mathias” – a slip in the game’s dialogue.
- Her combat class is set as a one-handed warrior rather than a farmer.
