Nivenor is a Bosmer living in Riften with her husband Bolli, who runs the Riften Fishery. She is deeply unhappy that he has found religion and started giving money away. The bright side, from her point of view: while he’s busy handing out charity, he doesn’t notice what she does with her time or their coin.
Where to find them
She lives with Bolli in Riften and spends some of her time at the fishery doing the paperwork, which she considers exhausting labour.
Quests
Nivenor can be involved in a radiant option of The Fishing Job for the Thieves Guild. Reading the note Requested Report strongly suggests she is sleeping with other men.
Personality & relationships
Nivenor is snobbish, spoiled and not subtle about it. She finds preaching to the poor pointless and threatens to leave Bolli if he gives their fortune away. She has Madesi put her jewelry – including a pricey garnet necklace – on Bolli’s account, leaving him staring at a 300-septim bill, and she asks Brand-Shei to track down pricey Argonian wine for a mysterious special occasion.
Riften has noticed. Grelka tells her to drop the act about loving her fisherman, Drifa is shocked by how Nivenor talks about Bolli, and Marise Aravel has been spreading the same rumour – and doesn’t deny it.
Good to know
She claims to work every “Friday” at the fishery, a slip of real-world weekday names in a land that normally says Fredas.
