Ahlam is a Redguard healer living in Whiterun. She works at the Temple of Kynareth with Danica Pure-Spring and Acolyte Jenssen, and she is married to Nazeem, Whiterun’s most famous snob.
Where to find them
She and Nazeem jointly own Chillfurrow Farm just south of the city, but you will most often find Ahlam inside the Temple of Kynareth tending to the wounded.
Services
Ahlam is flagged as a merchant in the game data, though her sources say little about what she sells. If Arcadia dies, Ahlam takes over Arcadia’s Cauldron.
Personality & relationships
Ahlam’s marriage is not going well. Nazeem spends his days fawning over Jarl Balgruuf, and she suggests you check the Jarl’s backside if you’re looking for him. She feels the two of them have drifted apart, describes him as self-absorbed, and has come to believe men everywhere care only about war and politics. Male Dragonborns who chat her up get a pointed reminder that she is a married woman.
Her best friend is Danica, and their conversations are a highlight. Ahlam pours out her worries about Nazeem and the civil war, and Danica responds with cheerfully savage remarks about him, at one point pointing out that a siege might at least get the husband killed. Danica keeps reminding her that the work she does at the temple is what really counts, and Ahlam usually ends up laughing.
Good to know
If Nazeem dies, Ahlam suddenly calls herself a still-grieving widow, which rings a little hollow. Kill or rob from either of them, or steal from the temple, and hired thugs may come looking for you. She also carries a key to Wintersand Manor, a location cut from the game.
