Whirlwind Sprint

Whirlwind Sprint (Wuld Nah Kest) launches you forward in a rush of air. Distances, cooldowns, Word Walls and clever uses in Skyrim.

Whirlwind Sprint throws you forward in a burst of wind. It’s the shout the Greybeards use to test you, and one of the most useful movement tools in the game.

Where to learn it

The Greybeards teach you WULD at High Hrothgar during The Way of the Voice. The other Word Walls are in Dead Men’s Respite and Volskygge.

Clever uses

  • Dash past swinging blade traps.
  • Jump gaps to reach places you normally can’t.
  • Close the distance to an archer or mage before they get off another shot.
  • Free yourself when you’re stuck in the terrain.
  • Travel faster on foot – two words give the best distance for the cooldown.

Effect per word

Dashes you forward. More words take you further (about 50 / 75 / 100 feet).
