Inhale air, exhale flame. Fire Breath turns you into a dragon for one glorious second, scorching everything in a cone in front of you.
Where to learn it
Two of the three Word Walls come with quests: Dustman’s Cairn during the Companions’ “Proving Honor”, and the summit of the Throat of the World, where Paarthurnax teaches you YOL in The Throat of the World. The third is in Sunderstone Gorge.
Tips
- Use one word. One word deals 50 damage with a 30-second cooldown. Three words deal 90, but you then wait 100 seconds. In the same time you could breathe one word three times for 150 total.
- Great against creatures weak to fire: draugr, trolls, Ice Wraiths, frost dragons and vampires.
- Ignites oil pools in dungeons.
- Mages can absorb it with a ward, so it’s best as an opening attack against them.
