Bend Will is the heart of the Dragonborn add-on. Each of its three words does something completely different, and the last one lets you do what every Skyrim player has dreamed of: ride a dragon.
How to get it
You learn it during the Dragonborn main questline – one word on the Word Wall at Saering’s Watch, and the rest from the Daedric Prince Hermaeus Mora in “The Gardener of Men”.
What each word does
- GOL: frees the All-Maker Stones of Solstheim from Miraak’s control in “Cleansing the Stones”.
- HAH: bends the will of people and animals, making them your temporary allies.
- DOV: bends the will of dragons – so you can climb on and ride them.
Undead are immune and just get staggered.
Effect per word
GOL: frees the All-Maker Stones.
HAH: people and animals become temporary allies.
DOV: dragons obey you and can be ridden.
Undead are only staggered.
