Snilling is a Nord farmer who lives at Katla’s Farm, just outside Solitude. “Farmer” is a generous job title, though: the real farming is done by his wife Katla, who reckons he’d only hurt himself out in the fields and happily leaves him the household chores instead.
Where to find them
Inside the farmhouse, almost always. Snilling spends most of his day eating or sleeping and rarely sets foot outside if he can help it.
Personality & relationships
He’s a friendly old fellow who’ll invite you to sit down for a while. Snilling openly admits he was a lot younger when he married Katla and can barely keep pace with her these days. The cold gets into his bones, so while Katla greets another grey morning with enthusiasm, he excuses himself to “get some work done” somewhere warm.
The couple have a son, Knud, an imaginative boy who likes to play soldier with the trees – and who has apparently trampled the crops before.
