Katla is a Nord farmer and the owner of Katla’s Farm just outside Solitude. She lives there with her husband Snilling and their son Knud, and she is very clearly the one who handles the outdoor work.

She’s usually out on the farm itself, walking the fields and doing chores like sweeping.

Katla will buy potatoes, leeks and wheat from you – handy if you’ve been harvesting your way across the countryside.
Personality & relationships
Katla loves a grey, chilly day, which her husband finds baffling – he would much rather stay inside where it’s warm. She jokes that it’s for the best Snilling sticks to the indoor jobs, since he’d only injure himself in the fields. She’s a patient mother, though she does warn Knud not to trample the crops while playing soldier.
Good to know
Killing Katla has consequences: three hired thugs will eventually come after you, and the contract they carry shows Snilling paid for the job.
With Hearthfire installed, an orphan named Blaise starts working on her farm, and you can adopt him (Hearthfire).
