Endarie is an Altmer shopkeeper in Solitude who co-owns the clothing shop Radiant Raiment with her sister Taarie. Taarie is the friendly face of the business; Endarie is the one who would rather you left.
Where to find them
At Radiant Raiment in Solitude, usually sewing.
Services
She sells clothing for most occasions, from breeches to gowns, and you can invest in her business.
Personality & relationships
Endarie is rude, and most of what she says to you drips with sarcasm. Her greetings make it clear you are interrupting, and her goodbyes thank the gods the conversation is over. Show up naked and she tells you to leave until you’re properly dressed. Talking to her sister, she calls the customers pigs. Taarie suggests she sew her own mouth shut while customers can hear.
She does soften a little in a few cases. She is more polite if you are a fellow High Elf, and less hostile once you have helped the city – for example by dealing with the Blackblood Marauders – invested in her shop, or saved the festival in Tending the Flames. Thane Bryling even got a free court gown from her, in thanks for being lenient about late rent. Bryling’s housecarl puts it best: Endarie hates everyone, but she hates Bryling a little less. The landlord is less lucky. Gisli notes that the sisters charge her brother Erikur extra because he keeps raising their rent.
Good to know
- Kill either sister and the other sends hired thugs after you, with a contract demanding you pay for the death.
- If you marry Taarie and live at Radiant Raiment, Endarie still follows you suspiciously around the shop and calls the guards if you pick the lockbox.
