Duach is a Breton Reachman serving time in Cidhna Mine beneath Markarth. He’s a Forsworn fighter who was captured some seven years ago, when a raid he took part in went wrong.
Where to find them
In the northern part of Cidhna Mine, among the other Forsworn inmates.
Quests
No One Escapes Cidhna Mine – once Grisvar the Unlucky has told you he’ll trade a shiv for skooma, you can ask Duach for his. Persuade him, beat him in a brawl, or just pickpocket it. The skooma can go to Grisvar for the shiv, or straight to Borkul the Beast as your toll to see Madanach.
Personality & relationships
Duach is worn down but not broken. He says he’s surprised he hasn’t cut his own throat yet, and that he would gladly have died fighting beside his kin – instead the Silver-Bloods wanted their ore mined, so here he is. Most of his small talk circles back to one ambition: getting out and killing Nords. He’s also cautious, warning you to keep your voice down since the other prisoners get suspicious.
