Boti is a Nord farmer who works the fields of Fellstar Farm in Ivarstead together with her husband Jofthor. Their daughter is Fastred, the lovesick heart of the village’s biggest drama. Boti doesn’t exactly roll out the welcome mat for strangers, but she has a softer side when it comes to her family.
Where to find them
She is usually out tending the crops at Fellstar Farm.
Quests
- The Book of Love: Fastred sends you to talk to her mother. Boti turns out to be fine with Bassianus Axius – she just wants her daughter to be happy, even if that means Fastred leaves town. If the two sneak off together, she promises to handle her husband, and she asks you to let Bassianus know she has their backs.
- Gather Wheat: like many farmers, she’ll pay you for harvesting her crops.
- Rescue mission: she can turn up as a captive in a rescue job for the Companions.
She is protected from dying until The Book of Love is finished.
Personality & relationships
Boti is blunt and a bit bitter about village life. She assumes every visitor is a pilgrim heading to High Hrothgar, suggests you keep walking through their “backwards little town”, and grumbles that Ivarstead keeps feeding the Greybeards without getting anything in return. Living under their monastery unnerves her too – she talks about thunder-like rumbles rolling down the mountain on days without a drop of rain.
With family she’s more practical: she knows Bassianus is scared stiff of Jofthor and is willing to play peacemaker so Fastred can follow her heart.
