Fastred is a young Nord woman who lives and works on her parents’ farm, Fellstar Farm, in Ivarstead. She is bored out of her mind in the little village and desperate to hear about the outside world – and, as her father would put it, she changes crushes about as often as the weather changes on the mountain.
Where to find them
She lives with her parents Jofthor and Boti and helps out on the farm (though her mother wishes she’d pitch in a bit more).
Quests
The Book of Love: Fastred is the local girl who has asked Mara for help deciding whether to leave her parents and the village with Bassianus Axius. Her old flame Klimmek is still in the picture too – she once drifted away from him because she thought he only loved fishing. How it ends is up to you:
- Pair her with Bassianus and she moves to Riften, where she wanders around the centre of town near him.
- Pair her with Klimmek and she stays put in Ivarstead.
Letter of Inheritance: after The Book of Love, if Fastred dies – for example in a dragon attack on Ivarstead or Riften – a courier may bring you a small inheritance.
Personality & relationships
Fastred is young, naive and a little childish, always hoping the next traveller has an exciting story to share. At the same time she loves her family and is reluctant to leave them, which is exactly why she’s stuck. Her relationship with her parents is a mix of affection and friction: her father is overprotective, her mother nags about farm chores but quietly wants her to be happy.
