Jorgen is a Nord who owns and runs the lumber mill in Morthal. He is not one for small talk: unless you want to discuss the mill, he would rather you moved along. Behind the gruff exterior hides an old family secret, as his line descends from the Keepers of the Razor, a group that worked to keep the fragments of Mehrunes’ Razor apart after the Oblivion Crisis.

He works at the mill in Morthal and shares a house across the bridge with his wife Lami, the town alchemist.
Quests
In Pieces of the Past Jorgen’s family turns out to be the guardians of the Razor’s hilt. When you bring up the name of Silus Vesuius, he admits his father suspected a link to the Mythic Dawn and grumbles that eight generations wasted their time protecting it from a dead cult. You can get the keys to the chest in his house by persuading him, paying him (the mill could use new blades), intimidating him, or beating him in a brawl. Breaking into his house works too, if you are that sort of hero.
During Laid to Rest he is one of the townsfolk the Jarl sends along to Movarth’s Lair. He is about as useful as you would expect: one look at the cave and he decides it looks creepy.

You can chop firewood and sell it to him at the mill for 5 gold apiece.
Personality & relationships
Jorgen has no faith in his leaders. Under Idgrod Ravencrone he complains that the Jarl hides away with her visions and lets a wizard like Falion live among them. If Sorli the Builder takes the throne instead, he simply switches complaints, calling her selfish. He and Thonnir sometimes corner the steward Aslfur to demand action against the wizard.
