Pieces of the Past: collect the three pieces of Mehrunes' Razor for Silus Vesuius in Dawnstar – and decide whether he lives or dies at Dagon's shrine.

Pieces of the Past is Mehrunes Dagon’s Daedric quest. Silus Vesuius, a descendant of the Mythic Dawn cult that once murdered an emperor, has turned his house in Dawnstar into a little museum – and he wants the centrepiece.

How to start

From level 20 you’ll receive an invitation to the Mythic Dawn Museum by courier, overhear people in Dawnstar talking about it, or hear a rumour from an innkeeper.

Walkthrough

Silus asks you to collect the three scattered pieces of Mehrunes’ Razor: the pommel, the blade shards and the hilt. Bring each to him, then meet him at the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. Dagon demands that you kill Silus.

Choices

  • Kill Silus → reforge the Razor and claim it.
  • Spare Silus → gold instead, but no artifact.
