Hillevi Cruel-Sea is a Nord merchant who sells fruit and vegetables in the market of Windhelm. She is married to Torsten Cruel-Sea, and all her produce comes from the family’s Hollyfrost Farm. She lost her daughter Fjotli to the killer known as the Butcher.
Where to find them
At her stall in the Stone Quarter market during the day, loudly advertising Windhelm’s freshest produce. The family lives in the House of Clan Cruel-Sea with their son Grimvar.
Quests
Delivery – Hillevi grows a little nightshade on the side because the court wizard Wuunferth the Unliving pays for it. Ask about her crops and she asks you to carry a bottle of Nightshade Extract to him at the palace.
She can also be a captive in the radiant quest Rescue Mission, and in Dawnguard’s Deceiving the Herd she counts as a high-profile target because she is a merchant (Dawnguard). During Blood on the Ice she is one of the women at risk if the Butcher isn’t stopped in time.

Personality & relationships
Hillevi is friendly and practical, and proud that only Nords have the patience to farm Skyrim’s frozen soil. She sends a mince pie to Torbjorn Shatter-Shield after his family’s loss, jokes with Nilsine Shatter-Shield about a new batch of tomatoes, and reassures the farmhand Tulvur when Torsten has been nagging him. Jora says Hillevi often visits the Temple of Talos, though you never see her there.
