Idesa Sadri is a Dark Elf who works as live-in nanny for the Cruel-Sea family in Windhelm, caring for young Grimvar Cruel-Sea. Between a curious child and a serial killer on the loose, she has her hands full.
Where to find them
At the House of Clan Cruel-Sea, or wandering nearby and around the marketplace. Now and then she walks through the Gray Quarter too.
Quests
On your first visit you’ll likely overhear her trying to brush off Grimvar’s questions about Aventus Aretino and the Black Sacrament, before admitting the rumours are true and telling him to stay away. It’s a natural lead into Innocence Lost. She may also ask you to take an item to the enchanter Sergius Turrianus, and she is one of the possible final targets of Calixto Corrium in Blood on the Ice.
Personality & relationships
Idesa is protective and a little overwhelmed. She describes childcare as a nightmare, worries about keeping Grimvar safe in dangerous times, and has no idea how to answer when he asks why women are being killed. Aventus’s dabbling clearly scares her – she sees it as inviting evil into the city.
