Neetrenaza is an Argonian laborer who lives outside the city walls of Windhelm in the Argonian Assemblage, the cramped quarters where the city’s Argonian dockworkers are housed. Like many of his people, he doesn’t think much of the Nords – mostly because they clearly don’t think much of Argonians.
Where to find them
During the day he works at the Windhelm Docks, usually manning the workbench and grindstone there. At night he heads back to the Assemblage.
Personality & relationships
How he greets you depends a lot on your scales. Non-Argonians get a frosty suggestion to move along, since folks down at the docks aren’t fond of outsiders. A fellow Argonian, on the other hand, is welcomed warmly as a newcomer to the community. He also has a dry sense of humour: he warns that the docks are dangerous and that you shouldn’t count on him to fish you out if you fall in.
Creep around in sneak mode near him and he’ll compare you to the Shadowscales of the old histories – the legendary Argonian assassins – which is either a compliment or a warning, depending on what you were planning.
Good to know
For all his gruffness, Neetrenaza can turn up as a guest at the Dragonborn’s wedding.
