Tulvur is a Nord farmer who lives and works at Hollyfrost Farm, just outside Windhelm. The farm belongs to the Cruel-Sea family, but Tulvur is the one actually trying to coax crops out of frozen ground.
Where to find them
At Hollyfrost Farm, working the fields by day and sleeping in the farmhouse with the dogs by night.
Services
He buys wheat, so if you’ve got some lying around he’s the man to see.
Personality & relationships
His boss is Torsten Cruel-Sea, a man from a sailing clan who doesn’t quite get farming. When Tulvur asks for tools that aren’t rusted through, Torsten offers timber for rigging, and Tulvur has to remind him he isn’t building a ship. Torsten also inspects the farmhouse and scolds him for the mess, comparing it to tidy ship quarters, while Tulvur points out that a farmhouse is never going to look like a city home. According to Tulvur, the master sometimes sneaks out to work the fields himself, much to the mistress’s disapproval.
The dogs are clearly the love of his life. He’d like to give them jobs but doesn’t have the heart, and he says they keep him warm at night without talking too much. An unused conversation even has him gushing to Hillevi Cruel-Sea about how thick one dog’s coat has grown.
