Hreinn

Hreinn is the hard-working Nord son of innkeepers Kleppr and Frabbi, helping run the Silver-Blood Inn in Markarth and shrugging off the Forsworn threat.
“My mother and Father yell a lot. Always have.”

Hreinn is a young Nord who works at the Silver-Blood Inn in Markarth, which his parents Kleppr and Frabbi run. He does the linens, scrubs the floors and checks on the guests, which is more than his mother says his father does.

Where to find them

He spends his time at the Silver-Blood Inn, doing chores and chatting with his father.

Personality & relationships

Hreinn has grown up with his parents bickering and calmly notes that they’ve always yelled a lot. When he asks his father why they fight so much, Kleppr insists they just talk loudly. Kleppr thinks Hreinn will make a fine innkeeper one day. Hreinn innocently passes on his mother’s opinion that Kleppr himself is a terrible one.

He trusts the Jarl and doesn’t take the Forsworn very seriously. After the attack on Margret in the market, the porter Cosnach worries out loud that she was targeted for being a Nord noble. Hreinn calls him paranoid and insists the city belongs to its people, not the Forsworn. The two argue about it more than once.

Good to know

Steal from the inn or hurt his family, including his sister Hroki, and Hreinn may send hired thugs after you. Fittingly for the inn’s most diligent cleaner, his name is the Icelandic word for “clean”.
