Voldsea Giryon is a Dark Elf sailor on the Northwind, the ship captained by Kjar. While her crewmates stay put, Voldsea is the one Northwind sailor who goes ashore when the ship is moored in Windhelm, and she’s clearly enjoying the feel of solid ground under her feet.
Where to find them
Her schedule is wonderfully strange. Worried that river life gives you weak legs, she walks laps around the Gray Quarter and the lower residential streets all night long. She never goes to the west side of the city and doesn’t even head down to the docks. The only building she enters is Candlehearth Hall, where she stays from 4 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon.
Personality & relationships
Voldsea seems genuinely happy with the sailor’s life. She has a lot of respect for Captain Kjar, describing him as demanding but fair, a man who rewards hard work and loyalty. Beyond that she’s a simple, cheerful soul who just wants a long walk before shipping out again.
Good to know
Every now and then she stops mid-walk and starts applauding at nothing. This is probably because she wandered out during a bard’s performance and kept the reaction going.
